# Kern it

> A kerning game: fix the letter spacing of five bakery words by eye and see how close you get to Inter's own kerning.

An interactive game on https://baked.design/fun/kern/. Five words (WAFFLE, Toffee, LATTE, TART, Yeast) are shown with the spacing of their middle letters scrambled. Drag the letters, or use the arrow keys, until the spacing looks even, then press Done.

## How the score works

- Each word is set in Inter with its built-in kerning on, and the game measures where every letter lands. That is the answer.
- Your score (out of 100) comes from the average distance between your letters and those spots, and the answer is shown as a faint outline.
- After five words you get an overall score you can share.
