# Wax seal maker

A free tool for designing a wax seal in 3D and downloading it as a 1200 × 1200 PNG with a clear background. https://baked.design/interfaces/wax-seal/

## What you can change
- Shape: round, wavy, oval, loose pour or scalloped, its size, wobble and turn
- Wax: any colour, glossy, satin, pearl, metallic or matte, and shimmer
- Press: pressed, deep cup, double rim or flat, with thickness, rim height and width, stamp size and depth
- Imprint: a mark, a letter, a word, a ring of words, a wreath, a morning sun or your own logo, raised or pressed in, optionally painted gold
- Drips (up to four) and wear (cracks, pits, scorch)
- The paper: a US letter sheet in cotton, laid, linen, kraft, parchment or handmade, which dents, wrinkles and marks under the hot wax
- Where the light comes from

Each new seal is pressed by a 3D brass stamp with a wooden handle (skipped with reduced motion on).

Nine seals to start from: Classic red, Oxblood, Olive, Royal blue, Gold, Copper, Black and gold, Burgundy pour, Sage.

## Questions
### Is it free?
Yes. No sign-up, no watermark. Download the PNG and use it anywhere.

### What do I get?
A 1200 × 1200 PNG of the seal on a clear background, so it sits on any letter, invitation, slide or site. Copy image puts the same picture on your clipboard for Figma, Keynote or Google Docs.

### Can I put my own logo or initials on it?
Yes. Under Imprint, pick Letter or Word and type your initials or name, or pick Logo image and add your logo. Dark parts of the logo stand up from the wax; turn on Invert for a light logo.

### Where does my logo go?
Nowhere. The seal is drawn in your browser, and the logo you add never leaves your device.

### Why did you make it?
For the letter on the home page of Found, an app we make. We wanted its wax seal to look pressed, not drawn, so we built the seal in 3D and gave it dials.
