# Kite: Website and onboarding

Kite is an AI marketer that lives in Slack. In its own words: "I research your business, build a strategy to grow it, and ship the work that brings you new customers."

Baked grew a brand world around Kite's logo and orange, then designed the new marketing site and the sign-up onboarding. Kite built our site design for its launch on 11 August, 22 days after kickoff.

## Same logo, bigger world

Kite kept its logo and orange. We built a set of halftone objects, cursors, rings, keys and folders, that the brand can use anywhere.

## Posters with a point of view

The objects became posters and social cards with short, plain lines.

## The first site pass

Our first pass told the website builder story Kite had at the time.

## A site that talks

When Kite became an AI marketer, we rebuilt the site as a story on a sky background, with Kite speaking in the first person. It shows real work in Slack instead of telling.
