Introduction
Godpack is a marketplace for internet culture, starting with trading cards: you open digital packs, pull real graded cards, keep them, sell them back or have them shipped to your door. The team is in YC W27.
They signed on 23 October 2026 with one brief: the opening has to feel incredible. Big build-up, cutscenes, sound, and a rarity you can feel, from blue to purple to red-pink to gold. Our first direction went over four days later, and a working prototype a week after signing.
It has to feel like the best pull of your life, every time you rip.
Brand
A new mark and packs with their own look
We drew a new Godpack logo and a die-cut pack shape that stays the same while the art changes per game and pack, so Pokémon today and One Piece or Riftbound later still feel like one place. Pack art uses no real set names.
Product
The pack room
A live room where you pick a pack and a price, rip one or many, and watch the cards land with recorded sound and a glow for each tier. Chat stays open the whole time, because Godpack's community lives in it. Multi-rips end on one screen with every card big, the best pull in the middle, the total, and a poster to share.
Product
Battles, rewards and shipping
Battles put two to five players on one table: everyone rips the same packs and the biggest pulls take the pot. Rewards add a daily free pack, VIP levels and weekly prizes for the most active players. A shipping page lets you pick the cards you want sent home and follow them to your door.
Build
From prototype to their own code
Everything was built as a working prototype first, on phone and desktop, then ported into Godpack's own stack: React for the web app and Expo for the mobile app, in a shared repo so their engineers could wire in the real backend and chat.
The result
Brand, pack room, battles, rewards and a shipping flow, designed, built and ported to Godpack's web and mobile apps in under two weeks.
