Introduction
Zinc is infrastructure for developers to buy from online retailers. Search products, place orders, track shipments and handle returns, all through a single API.
Baked designed the full marketing site and built it in Next.js with Zinc's team. The new home page went live on zinc.com in August 2025.

Say what it does in one line
We started with the hero and the story before the rest of the page. The home page leads with the API call itself, then walks through ordering, tracking and returns.

Data
Product data from the retail web
The data page and home sections show search, seller comparison and product metadata as simple cards and charts.
System
Warm, simple, one blue
Warm greys, one blue accent and a few secondary colours run across every page. The 3D objects from thiings.co keep the visuals consistent.
Build
Every page, desktop and mobile
We designed every page in desktop and mobile, down to the 404, and our developer built them in Next.js so Zinc's team could keep shipping pages and blog posts.
The result
